An immuno-nutritional aid for the management of chronic inflammatory conditions in horses. Contrary to many NSAIDs, Duralactin has demonstrated no hepatic, renal or gastrointestinal toxicity. Duralactin Equine is not a drug or steroid, but a milk-derived product that works differently from NSAIDs or steroids. Active ingredient: MicroLactin™ (dried milk protein) 7000 mg. per scoop Description: Duralactin Equine contains MicroLactin™, a patented, milk-derived, high protein product from hyperimmunized cows that contains factors that appear to inhibit neutrophil participation in the inflammatory response. Duralactin Equine does not share the mechanism of action of any known drug and is not a cycloxygenase (COX-1 or COX-2) inhibitor.
