Veterinarian with a PuppyOur on-staff veterinarian Dr. Rick Kesler joined our team in May 2006. Dr. Kesler brings to Pet Supplies 4 Less a wealth of information and experience. Dr. Kesler currently holds licensure to practice Veterinary Medicine in a total of five states.  Additionally he holds a position in the American Veterinary Medical Association. At Pet Supplies 4 Less Dr. Kesler’s position is multi-faceted: he trains staff advises staff and customers on products consults with outside breeders and pet owners participates in public forums and contributes informational articles for nationally-circulated animal-based magazines.

Dr. Kesler graduated in 1985 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University. While receiving his formal education he also learned immensely from work-related experience. During his employment for an Iowa hospital he worked as a phlebotomist medical technologist and emergency room assistant.

Post graduation Dr. Kesler’s experience encompassed all animal species with a focus on small animal and equine veterinary care. Dr. Kesler has worked for and owned clinics spanning several states. Because of this he has collaborated with a wide range of specialists in the field of veterinary medicine. It is a combination of his educational background and his personal experience that make him an invaluable asset to our company.
