Super Calcium gel is a fast absorbing calcium chloride gel. May be given before and after calving. Aids in maintaining constant calcium blood serum levels, lessening occurrences of milk fever in dairy cattle. For prevention and management of hypocalcemia (milk fever). Blood calcium levels obtained within 5 minutes of administration. Peak duration 30 to 45 minutes; remains in the blood stream for approximately 8 hours in most cases. Generally prevents need for calcium IV.
