Provides rapid local immunity against Canine Advenovirus Type 2 (CAV-2), a primary component of canine kennel cough.
Canine Adenovirus Type 2-Parainfluenza-Bordetella Bronchiseptica Vaccine, Modified Live Virus, Avirulent Live Culture

Contents: Progard-KC Plus is a modified live intranasal vaccine containing attenuated canine adenovirus type 2, parainfluenza virus and Bordetella bronchiseptica avirulent live culture. Progard-KC Plus is presented in a desiccated form with sterile diluent provided for reconstitution.
Indications: Progard-KC Plus is for vaccination of healthy dogs and puppies three weeks of age or older for prevention of canine infectious tracheobronchitis ("kennel cough") due to canine adenovirus type 2, parainfluenza virus and B. bronchiseptica.
Dosage and Administration: Aseptically reconstitute the desiccated vaccine with the sterile diluent provided. Remove the needle and administer 0.4 mL into one nostril. Because of the small dose volume, an applicator tip is not required for administration of the vaccine. Healthy puppies three weeks of age or older and dogs should be vaccinated prior to confinement or when risk of canine infectious tracheobronchitis ("kennel cough") may exist. Revaccinate annually.
Precaution(s): Recommended storage temperature 35-45°F (2-7°C). Shake well before use. Use contents promptly once reconstituted. Non-chemically sterilized needles and syringes should be used for administration of vaccine. Burn this container and all unused contents.
Caution(s): Administration of epinephrine may be indicated in the event of an anaphylactic reaction. Only healthy animals should be vaccinated. Animals incubating any disease, or animals stressed due to shipping, malnutrition or parasitism may not achieve or maintain an adequate immune response. This product is not hazardous when used according to directions supplied. A material safety data sheet (MSDS) is available upon request. Trial Data: Progard-KC Plus was demonstrated to be 99.9% reaction-free when administered to 1,702 dogs of various ages, breed, and sex.
