About the Product:
Puppy-Powder provides the animal with 5 specific strains of live bacteria. These bacteria are found in all healthy animal's digestive tract in copious numbers. Environmental changes can disrupt the normal microflora associated with the intestine. Puppy-Powder is a method of replenishing the cells, or re-inoculation so as to help reestablish the normal microflora, through the live (viable) colony forming units of Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus lactis, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus casei, and Streptococcus (Entrococcus) faecium. Each single gram has a minimum of 50,000,000 colony forming units of viable bacteria. The bacteria utilized in this blend are encapsulated in a special base to ensure viability and bioavailability to the animal.
In addition to the bacteria, Puppy-Powder also provides a source of electrolytes, balanced pH, vitamins and minerals -- wrapped in a unique easy to digest formula containing honey, special refined egg protein solubles, a blend of polysaccharides and phospholipids.

When to use Puppy-Powder:
Use Puppy-Powder whenever environmental changes take place such as when weaning the animal from mother's milk, after medication or antibiotic therapy, when traveling or transporting, and when in a new and/or strange location. Use as part of a sound management program on a routine basis to help keep the microflora established and strong.
