Read This Before You Order Rabies Vaccine:The states of AK, AL, AR, CA, CT, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, KS, MD, ME, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OR, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, WA, WV and WY. have laws prohibiting the shipment of rabies vaccine to these states. State laws are often changed so this list cannot be considered complete. In addition, some state and local laws require that rabies vaccine be administered by a licensed vet only and make it illegal for you to vaccinate your own animal or refuse to recognize the vaccination if you do it yourself. Before you order rabies vaccines, investigate your local laws and regulations. Do not order unless you find it is legal for you to buy and administer rabies vaccine to your animal.
Product Details:
Rabvac 3 Fort Dodge Vaccine Rabies Vaccine, Killed Virus Contents: This product contains the antigen listed above. Contains gentamicin as a preservative and is Thimerosal Free. Indications: Rabvac 3 is a killed virus vaccine for the vaccination of healthy dogs, cats and horses against rabies. This vaccine meets the three year duration of immunity requirements for dogs and cats, and one year duration of immunity for horses. Dosage and Administration: Dogs and Cats: Inject one 1 mL dose subcutaneously or at one site in the thigh intramuscularly. Vaccinate dogs and cats 3 months of age or older with one dose. Revaccinate with a repeat dose one year later. Revaccinate both dogs and cats every 3 years. Horses: Inject one 2 mL dose intramuscularly. Note: Two 1 mL vials must be used. Vaccinate horses 3 months of age or older. Revaccinate with one 2 mL dose one year later. Annual revaccination with one 2 mL dose is required. Precaution(s): Store between 2° and 7° C (35° and 45° F). Do not freeze. Shake well before use. Caution(s): This product is restricted for use by or under the supervision of a veterinarian. Warning(s): Do not vaccinate horses within 21 days before slaughter. For use in dogs, cats and horses only.
