Antidermatosis Shampoo with Spherulites® for use on dogs and cats of any age.
Indications: Sebolux is a unique antiseborrheic, keratoplastic and antiseptic shampoo. Removes scales and crusts associated with seborrhea and other nonspecific dermatoses while leaving the skin clean and the coat soft and lustrous. Sebolux is an antiseborrheic, keratoplastic and antiseptic shampoo. Leaves the skin clean and the coat soft.
Directions: Shake well before use. Wet the coat with warm water and apply sufficient shampoo to create a rich lather. Massage Sebolux into wet coat, lather freely. Rinse and repeat. Allow to remain on hair for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Frequency of use: initially two to three times a week for four weeks, then reducing to once a week, or as directed by your veterinarian.
Ingredient(s): Contains: Solubilized sulfur (equivalent to 2% elemental sulfur) and 2% salicylic acid in a shampoo base containing water, sodium lauryl sulfate, lauryl glucoside, Spherulites, glycerin, chitosanide, lauramide DEA, sodium hydroxide and fragrance. Chitosanide, glycerin, salicylic acid and sulfur are present in encapsulated (Spherulites) and free forms. Urea is present in encapsulated form.
Caution(s): For topical use only. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, flush eyes with water and seek medical attention if irritation persists. Available through licensed veterinarians only.
Discussion: Sebolux contains Spherulites, an exclusive and patented encapsulation system developed by Virbac to provide slow release of ingredients long after the shampoo is rinsed off. Sebolux also contains Chitosanide, a natural biopolymer creating a protective film on the skin and hair. This reinforces the hydrating and restoring effects of the formulation, helping to protect the skin against damage from the environment.
