Product description

For use with A5 and PowerPro Clippers. These blades are coated with titanium carbonitride for 3 times longer blade life and smoother cutting. Cutting edge has Rockwell hardness (HRC) of over 80 but are not brittle. The coating will not flake off like regular chrome can. Significantly longer wear life! Cryogenics: Increased blade durability. Blades stay sharp longer. Less sharpening required. Made in USA. The Oster Elite Cryogen-X Size 5/8 blade leaves hair 1/32". Used to work in tight areas and cutting about the same length of the Size 30 blade, this blade is useful for poodle patterns and clipping around feet. The blade is also great for the inside of some smaller ears. The Oster Elite Cryogen-X Size 7/8 blade leaves hair 1/32". Used to work in tight areas and cutting about the same length as the Size 30 blade, this blade is useful for poodle patterns and clipping around feet. The blade is also great for the inside of some smaller ears. The Oster Elite Cryogen-X Size 3 blade leaves 1/2" and is great for stand up type coats like heavy coated poodles and bichons. It leaves the coat at a length that resembles hand scissoring without all the work. Great for pet owners wanting nice length over all. The Oster Elite Cryogen-X Size 3F blade leaves 1/2" and is a great blade for drop coated breeds like Lhasa Apso, Maltese, Shih Tzu and Yorkshire Terriers. It leaves the dog looking like a cute puppy. The Size 3F blade cuts grooming time in half because of the more precise cut compared to a universal comb for less scissoring time. The Oster Elite Cryogen-X Size 4F blade leaves 3/8" and is great for drop coat breeds. Breeds such as Spaniels, most Terriers, Maltese with coats that lay flat to the skin will benefit from this blade. The coat is combed down as you clipper, leaving it smooth and line free. The Oster Elite Cryogen-X Size 4 Skiptooth Elite blade is great for fluffy type coats such as Poodles and Bichons. It does not comb the hair flat to the body when cutting, as the full tooth blade does. Great for body clipping as well as one length, all over trims. The Oster Elite Cryogen-X Size 5F blade leaves 1/4". With the Size 5F blade a short, smooth finished can be achieved. Great on certain sporting and terrier breeds that have a back coat which lays flat to the skin. Use the Oster Elite Cryogen-X Size 5 Skiptooth blade on fluffy type coats such as poodles, bichons and dogs with similar type coats. The Size 5 Skiptooth blade leaves the coat standing rather than combing it down for a better, faster finish. Blade leaves 1/4". The Oster Elite Cryogen-X Size 7 Skiptooth blade leaves 1/8". The shortest of the skip tooth blades, the Size 7 is for use on very matted dog coats. The Size 7 Skiptooth blade cuts through mats that other length blades cannot penetrate. The coat is more accessible to the cutting blade because of the flat design of this blade. The teeth are more open which allows the coat to be cut easier than the 7F blade with its full teeth. The Oster Elite Cryogen-X Size 7F blade is often used to shave down very matted dogs and cats. This blade also gives a short, clean finish if desired on some sporting and terrier breeds. Blade can be used against the lay of the coat for lion trims or to remove hair from cats. The Oster Elite Cryogen-X Size 8-1/2 blade leaves 7/64". This blade is a good choice when a Size 10 blade is too close for sensitive skin. Caution: The cutting blade is more exposed than the Size 10 due to the wide spaces of the comb of the blade. This means that it may cut the dog easier than the Size 10 blade. The Oster Elite Cryogen-X Size 9 blade leaves hair 7/64". This blade is a shorter than the Size 8 1/2 but longer than the Size 10 blade. It can be used for close clipper work on some poodles, spaniels and terrier with sensitive skin. Remember that the cutting blade is more expose which means it is possible to cut the dog easier than with the Size 10. The Oster Elite Cryogen-X Size 10 blade leaves hair 1/16". This size blade comes standard with many new clippers. The Size 10 blade is great for sanitary trimming (bellies, around eyes, rectum and pads of feet) of any breed. For most close clipper work on poodles, spaniels and terriers, the Size 10 blade is the blade of choice. Leaving a clean finish, the Size 10 blade is safe for use on dogs and cats that are too matted for other blades to cut under and remove mats. The Oster Elite Cryogen-X Size 10 Wide blade leaves hair 3/32" and is similar to the regular Size 10 blade but has a wider cutting edge. The Size 10 Wide blade is used for horses and shaving down matted dogs. The Oster Elite Cryogen-X Size 15 blade leaves hair 3/64". The Size 15 blade is often used on Poodles for clipper work on the face, feet and tail. The Size 15 blade is ideal when the Size 10 blade is not smooth enough and a Size 30 blade is too close. This blade can also be used for sanitary prep. The Oster Elite Cryogen-X Size 30 blade leaves hair 1/50". This blade is used on pet poodles with less sensitive skin or show poodles with sensitive skin conditioned for its use. The Oster Elite Cryogen-X Size 40 blade leaves hair 1/100". The Size 40 blade should only be used by experienced groomers. An ideal blade for show poodles. This blade is the blade of choice among veterinarians for prepping pets off all types for surgery. The Oster Elite Cryogen-X Size 50 blade leaves hair 1/125". Blade of choice for veterinarians prepping pets for surgery. This blade should only be used by experienced groomers. Great for an extra close finish on show poodles.
