Copasure Bolus Copper Supplement for Cattle & Calves

Copasure Bolus is a targeted copper supplementation solution designed to restore and maintain healthy copper levels in cattle and calves that are deficient. Each solid bolus (not a capsule) contains copper oxide particles that are slowly released in the rumen, allowing copper to pass gradually through the digestive system and replenish liver reserves over time. This sustained-release delivery supports proper growth, immune function, and overall herd performance.

Copasure is intended for use only in animals confirmed or suspected to be copper deficient. Always consult your veterinarian to determine copper status and the appropriate supplementation program for your herd.

Directions:

For Adult Cattle (over 500 lbs): Administer 1 bolus orally using a suitable balling gun. In situations of very low copper status, adult cattle may be given 2 boluses. Administer only intact boluses; do not crush or break.

For Calves (165–441 lbs): Administer 1 bolus orally using a suitable balling gun. Copper oxide particles are released in the rumen within approximately 30 minutes, then pass slowly through the ruminant stomach over 2–3 months to replenish liver copper stores. Administer only intact boluses; do not crush or break.

Use only when cattle or calves are copper deficient. Consult your veterinarian to determine copper status and supplementation needs.

Adult Cattle Bolus: 30 grams copper oxide.
Calf Bolus: 15 grams copper oxide.
