The Nordic Forge Cow Lift is a reliable, durable tool designed to safely lift and support cows or calves that are down due to injury, illness, or fatigue. Engineered with a threaded rod and ergonomic handle, this cow lift allows for precise and controlled raising, reducing the risk of injury to both the animal and operator. Its versatile design accommodates animals of all sizes—from the smallest calf to the largest cow.

How to Use:

1. Place the lift over the animal’s back, centering the rings on the hip bones.
2. Position the animal directly under the loop on the bar.
3. Tighten both thumb screws securely.
4. Turn the handle on the threaded rod to snug the rings against the hips.
5. Adjust the ring attached to the crank handle until it contacts the stop on the bar.
6. Hook to a power pull or hoist and raise the animal slowly.

Important:

Do not use for more than 15–20 minutes at a time to avoid potential damage to the pelvis. Practice using the lift to prevent injury from over-tightening or insufficient ring tension.
