For Beef and Nonlactating Dairy Cattle

Cydectin Injectable is a ready-to-use broad-spectrum dewormer containing moxidectin to treat and control internal and external parasites in beef and nonlactating dairy cattle. It helps control gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, cattle grubs, mites, and lice, supporting herd health and productivity.

Each mL contains 10 mg of moxidectin. The injectable formulation is administered subcutaneously (under the skin) in the neck region and is compatible with the Cydectin Injectable Applicator, sold separately.

Dosage & Administration:

• Dosage: Administer 1 mL per 110 lb (50 kg) of body weight.
• Route: Subcutaneous injection under the loose skin in front of or behind the shoulder, as directed by the product label.
• Use a current body weight to calculate the dose accurately. Do not underdose, as inadequate treatment may contribute to parasite resistance.
• Use sterile, dry equipment and aseptic procedures when withdrawing and administering the product.
• Recommended Needle Size: 16–18 gauge, 1/2–3/4 inch in length.

Storage:

Store at or below 77°F (25°C). Protect from light. Use contents within 12 months of first puncture.

Disposal:

Do not contaminate water through direct application or improper disposal of containers. Dispose of containers in an approved landfill or by incineration, in accordance with applicable regulations.

Cautions & Warnings:

For beef and nonlactating dairy cattle only. Not for human use. Keep this and all medications out of reach of children. Do not use in female dairy cattle of breeding age, veal calves, or calves under 8 weeks of age.

• Slaughter Withdrawal: Do not slaughter cattle for human consumption within 21 days after treatment.
• Milk Withholding: A withholding time for milk has not been established.
