The Jeffers Expression Pony Turnout Blanket was specifically developed to solve the challenge of finding a properly fitted blanket for ponies and miniature horses. Jeffers went back to square one, taking measurements from a wide range of pony and miniature horse sizes to create a turnout with correctly proportioned neck and chest openings and a drop that gradually becomes shorter as blanket sizes decrease.

The first patterned Jeffers horse blankets are available again in mini and pony sizes, combining a distinctive look with the rugged dependability of the Expression brand. The 1200 denier outer shell is resistant to rips and tears, while the completely waterproof and breathable construction provides dependable protection from rain and changing weather conditions. With 240 grams of polyfill insulation, this medium-weight turnout is suitable for use in most climates.

Safety and freedom of movement are also built into the design. Adjustable, removable elastic crisscross surcingle straps and elastic hind leg straps allow the blanket to be fitted comfortably without being overly restrictive. Because the straps are elastic, they can provide additional flexibility and are more likely to give way if a leg becomes caught compared with standard non-elastic web straps. Each blanket includes a complete replacement set of belly bands and hind leg straps.
