Cleaning Instructions:

Wash the faux fleece cover on a gentle cycle using cold water and line dry. The heated bed can be wiped clean with a damp towel and mild dish detergent. Do not machine wash the heating element. To clean the house, simply wipe with a damp cloth. The removable roof makes interior cleaning quick and easy.

Safety & Testing:

To test the heating function, place a pillow on the heated bed for 20 minutes, then feel underneath—it should be warm, not hot. Never use an extension cord or place any coverings other than the provided fleece cover on the heating pad. The K&H Outdoor Heated Kitty House has been tested and certified by MET Labs to exceed USA and Canadian electrical safety standards.
