Zinc is often lacking in equine diets, especially those high in iron, as excess iron can impair the absorption of both zinc and copper. Zinc plays vital roles in protein metabolism, hoof integrity, coat pigmentation, and skeletal development in growing horses. This formula features polysaccharide-bound zinc to enhance bioavailability and protect the mineral as it travels through the digestive system, allowing for optimal absorption and utilization at the site where it’s most effective.

Directions:

Feed at the rate of 15 g daily or as directed by your veterinarian or nutritionist. 1 scoop = approximately 15 g.

• Under 500 lbs: 0.5 scoop daily
• 500 – 1000 lbs: 1 scoop daily
• 1000 – 1500 lbs: 1 scoop daily
• Over 1500 lbs: 1.5 scoops daily

Ingredients:

Each serving contains 670 mg of zinc. Other ingredients include alfalfa meal, corn distiller grains with solubles, beet pulp, zinc polysaccharide complex, dried kelp, lignin sulfonate, cold-pressed soybean oil, sodium propionate, natural and artificial flavor, coconut oil, vitamin E supplement, and citric acid.
