Encephalomyelitis - West Nile Virus Vaccine, Eastern & Western, Killed virus, Killed flavivirus Chimera, Tetanus Toxoid

Prestige 3+WNV is for the vaccination of healthy horses 6 months of age or older against Eastern and Western encephalomyelitis viruses, tetanus and West Nile Virus. This product has been shown to be effective against encephalitis and viremia caused by West Nile Virus.

Dosage:

For primary vaccination aseptically administer 1 mL intramuscularly, repeat with a single dose in 3 to 4 weeks. Historically, annual revaccination with this product has been recommended. A booster dose can be administered at more frequent intervals based upon individual horse or farm disease risk assessment or any time epidemic conditions exist or are reported.

Storage:

Store at 2°C to 8°C (35°F to 46°F).

Caution: Shake well before using. Do not mix with other products. Local reactions may occur at the injection sites in vaccinates, and most of these reactions resolve in 3 to 7 days following vaccination. Systemic reactions may also occur in animals following vaccination. For animal use only.
