Rabvac 1, No Tags – Rabies Vaccine for Dogs and Cats

Rabvac 1 is a rabies vaccine for dogs and cats that helps protect against the rabies virus. It’s made for healthy pets 3 months of age or older and provides up to one year of protection. This killed virus vaccine must be given by a veterinarian or under their supervision. Rabvac 1 is widely used to keep pets safe and help prevent the spread of rabies in the community.

Features:

• For use in healthy dogs and cats 3 months of age and older
• Killed virus rabies vaccine with at least 12 months of immunity
• Meets USDA standards for annual rabies vaccination

No tags or certificates come with rabies vaccines and must be purchased separately.

Dosage and Administration:

Inject one 1 mL dose either subcutaneously or intramuscularly at one site in the thigh. Revaccinate one year after the initial dose, then annually.

Storage and Handling:

• Store between 2°C and 8°C (35°F and 46°F)
• Do not freeze; shake well before use
• Use entire contents after opening

Precautions:

• Use only under veterinary supervision
• Do not mix with other products unless specified on the label
• Not tested in pregnant animals
• May cause anaphylaxis or hypersensitivity; treat with epinephrine, corticosteroids, or antihistamines as needed
• Local injection site reactions may occur
• Contains gentamicin and thimerosal as preservatives
