Rx Cefpoderm (Cefpodoxime Proxetil) Tablets

Cefpodoxime Proxetil is a cephalosporin antibiotic commonly prescribed to help treat bacterial skin infections in dogs, including wounds, abscesses, and other related conditions. This oral medication may also be used by veterinarians to treat certain bladder and respiratory infections in canines. Cefpodoxime is effective against bacteria but is not used for viral infections.

Formulated specifically for dogs, this antibiotic is not intended for use in cats. It can be administered with or without food, depending on your dog’s preference.
