Marboquin (marbofloxacin) Antibacterial Tablets provide broad-spectrum, prescription-strength antibacterial support for dogs. Formulated from a fluoroquinolone-class antimicrobial, Marboquin is designed to treat skin and soft tissue infections as well as urinary tract infections caused by susceptible bacteria. These tablets are easy to administer and available in multiple strengths for accurate dosing.

Directions:

Administer 1.25 mg of marbofloxacin per lb of body weight once daily. The dosage may be safely increased to 2.5 mg/lb if prescribed by your veterinarian. For skin and soft tissue infections, continue treatment for 2–3 days beyond the resolution of clinical signs, up to a maximum of 30 days. For urinary tract infections, administer for at least 10 days. If no improvement is seen within 5 days, consult your veterinarian for reassessment and possible alternative therapy.

Warnings:

Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian. For animal use only. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes; in case of contact, flush with water for 15 minutes. For dermal exposure, wash with soap and water. Individuals with hypersensitivity to fluoroquinolones should avoid handling this product. Excessive accidental exposure may lead to photosensitization; avoid direct sunlight if this occurs.
