Rx Selarid® Canine & Feline Topical Parasiticide
Rx Selarid® Canine & Feline is a prescription topical parasiticide that provides broad-spectrum, month-long parasite protection for dogs six weeks of age and older and cats eight weeks of age and older. Formulated with selamectin, this ready-to-use solution comes in convenient single-dose applicators, delivering a minimum of 2.7 mg of selamectin per pound of body weight for reliable, effective control of multiple parasites.
Selarid® kills adult fleas and prevents flea eggs from hatching for up to one month, helping stop flea infestations before they start. It also prevents heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis, treats and controls ear mite infestations (Otodectes cynotis), and protects against additional parasites depending on species: sarcoptic mange (Sarcoptes scabiei) and tick infestations (Dermacentor variabilis) in dogs, and roundworm (Toxocara cati) and intestinal hookworm (Ancylostoma tubaeforme) in cats. This easy topical application makes monthly parasite prevention simple and stress-free.

Directions:
Use only as directed by your veterinarian. Remove the applicator from the pouch, hold upright, and snap off the tip. Part the hair at the base of the neck in front of the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Apply the entire contents directly onto the skin in one spot. Do not massage into the skin. Do not apply to wet or broken skin. Administer monthly for continuous protection. Discard empty applicators in household refuse.

Temporary clumping, hair discoloration, or residue at the application site may occur and does not affect safety or effectiveness.
