Elanco TruFel Ultra HC2P, 25 x 0.5 mL Vials

Feline Rhinotracheitis-Calici-Panleukopenia Vaccine

TruFel Ultra HC2P, previously known as ULTRA Fel-O-Vax FVRCP, is an advanced aluminum-free killed virus vaccine for cats that protects against feline rhinotracheitis, calicivirus (both novel and traditional strains), and panleukopenia. This low-volume 0.5 mL injection uses 50% less fluid than standard cat vaccines, helping reduce discomfort. Safe for healthy cats 8 weeks and older.

Key Benefits

  • Protection against rhinotracheitis, calicivirus (both novel and traditional), and panleukopenia
  • Low-volume 0.5 mL dose reduces injection discomfort
  • Safe for cats starting at 8 weeks of age
  • Aluminum-free formulation
  • Killed virus—no live virus components

TruFel Ultra vaccines are highly purified 0.5 mL formulas for cats, created using a process that reduces protein content by up to 75% to help lower post-injection discomfort. Many are available in combination options, minimizing needle sticks and simplifying dosing.

Additional Calicivirus Protection:

Includes an added calicivirus strain from a 1998 hemorrhagic outbreak. This strain has demonstrated effectiveness against calicivirus-induced hemorrhagic disease in controlled studies.

Usage Guidelines:

  • Inject 0.5 mL subcutaneously using aseptic technique
  • Administer two doses 3–4 weeks apart
  • Final dose for kittens should be at or after 16 weeks of age
  • Annual revaccination may be advised—consult a veterinarian

Cautions:

  • Store between 2°C and 8°C (35°F to 46°F). Do not freeze.
  • Shake well before use. Do not mix with other products unless directed.
  • Not tested in pregnant cats. Consult a vet before use in breeding animals.
  • May cause temporary lethargy, fever, or injection site discomfort
  • Rare hypersensitivity or anaphylactic responses may require treatment

Contains thimerosal, neomycin, polymyxin B, and amphotericin B as preservatives. For animal use only. Federal law prohibits repackaging or resale without a veterinary-client-patient relationship.
