Virkon S Disinfectant and Virucide Tablets

Virkon S is a highly effective, stabilized disinfectant formulated with a balanced blend of peroxygen compounds, surfactants, organic acids, and inorganic buffers. Designed for use as a hard surface disinfectant, Virkon S is ideal for livestock production facilities, transportation areas, and other environments requiring reliable biosecurity measures. It provides broad-spectrum virucidal, bactericidal, and fungicidal activity to help maintain clean, sanitary surfaces and reduce the risk of disease transmission.

Directions:

Fill a container with the desired amount of water and add Virkon S Tablets to achieve the recommended solution concentration. For a 1% solution, dissolve one tablet in one pint of water. Always follow the product label and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for complete instructions on proper use, handling, and safety. Using this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling is a violation of Federal law.

Storage & Disposal:

• Keep the desiccant sachet in the container at all times.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Always replace the lid securely after use.

First Aid:

• If in eyes: Hold eye open and rinse slowly with water for 15–20 minutes. Remove contact lenses after the first 5 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor.
• If on skin or clothing: Remove contaminated clothing and rinse skin with water for 15–20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor.
• If swallowed: Call a poison control center or doctor immediately. Have the person sip water if able. Do not induce vomiting unless instructed. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Note to Physician: Probable mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage.
