XL Bander Castrator - Plier-Type Bloodless Castration Tool

The XL Bander Castrator is a durable plier-style tool designed for bloodless castration of bulls weighing approximately 250 to 750 lbs. This versatile instrument provides a humane and efficient method for castration, with minimal stress for both the animal and the operator. Bands are sold separately.

The XL Bander uses large, heavy-duty latex bands that open to 4" x 3" x 3", providing a secure fit for larger bulls. The applicator requires no tightening - simply open the band, position it, and release the handle for a quick and reliable application. In addition to castration, the tool can also be used for horn removal and tail docking.

After application, the scrotum typically drops off within 20 to 40 days. For optimal animal health, a tetanus toxoid vaccination is recommended at the time of banding.
